I also wanted to play the Oboe...and Flute! In gr.5 we had to make up our own instruments and I played old fashioned coke bottles. I played hot cross buns and mary had a little lamb. I remember it was hard trying to get the right amount of water in the bottles.

In Gr 7 Quest Musique came to our school and we tried out different instruments. (Clarinet, Sax, Flute, Trombone, Trumpet, French Horn, Snare Drum). We blew and they played notes. They rated each out of 5. Clarinet:5 Sax:4 Flute:0. I thought I would do well and if I could play the bottles, surely I could play the flute (same mouth position) but alas it was not meant to be.

I sing alolong with my songs, but my family doesn't like having thier ears bleed.

The clarinet! that's great, lovely instrument, a friend of mine plays it too
Well I played the flute for some years.. but that was more only to learn musicnotes... I can also play keyboard a bit, my bro takes keyboard lessons, but I often play on his keyboard too
Well I only sing along with my favourite music.. but furthermore I can't sing at all

True, true....waht I would like to also try is....the bagpipes...yeah. I am in cadets, and play the clarinet in the band, but at camp there is pipes and drums section, and they sound fricking amazing!!!!I love how the double snares and bagpipes sound, even if they do make my eardrums bleed (from the volume)

Do you play other instruments? I can play the saxaphone, and my mom bought us a keyboard for our 13th birthday. She taught us how to play, but stopped once we said we would not sing ( to find out if we are playing the right note.. Personally I find that I sing horribly, but am getting better singing along with Tokio Hotel...my sister was the same way, till she practiced her Japanese songs, and she sounds pretty good)...sorry that was a rabbit trail. I was also playing acoustic guitar, but am not practicing it anymore (without guitar and band class in my schedule at school I don't have an urge to practice!) AARRGGHHHH!!!!!!
